Ohio’s Stay at Home Order Regarding COVID-19
A&B Deburring Co. will remain open during these unprecedented times. We have reviewed the Ohio Department of Heath publication “Director’s Stay at Home Order” dated 03/20/2020 and the Department of Homeland Security publication “Guidance on the Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce: Ensuring Community and National Resilience in COVID-119 Response” dated 03/19/2020.
We have received letters from several companies operating in the critical essential sectors listed by the Department of Homeland Security requesting that we maintain our ability to supply them with critical materials for their manufacturing operations. Essential sectors that we supply include Food, Energy, Transportation, Public Works, Medical and Defense Industrial Base.
Steps that we have taken to protect our employees include:
We will continue to operate in a “normal” capacity with the exception to the following. We have reduced our job shop operation to first shift only. At some point, if necessary, we will adopt a staffing strategy whereby a reduced staff reports to work each day. We will be open for business every day, but rely on smaller “teams” to perform the daily task of customer service and shipping / receiving. We have heard from most of the manufacturers that we represent and they have plans in place to continue their operations.
We want you to know that our company will be here to support your essential business activities and that we very much appreciate your business. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me.
